Those that don't care about early access can start playing on Monday, June 5 at 4pm PT. Doing so will grant players access to the game on Thursday, June 1 at 4pm PT, as recently confirmed by Blizzard's Mike Ybarra. Just as fans had to pre-order Diablo 4 to get access to the first beta, those interested in playing the full game early will have to pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of Diablo 4.
